The Schluter-Ditra-Heat-DUO membrane offers all the same features as the Schluter-Ditra-Heat membrane in tiling support and durable installations. However, it has a thicker non-woven felt, which gives it two additional benefits: sound control and a thermal barrier. Ditra-Heat-DUO reduces impact noise in floor / ceiling assemblies, making it an ideal product for multi-level installations. It adds an extra 20 points to the ΔIIC index for a mortar and tile assembly. Ditra-Heat-DUO also reduces heat loss in the substrate and improves floor heating response times up to 70% on concrete substrates. The thickness of the Ditra-Heat-DUO membrane is 5/16" (8mm).
