Milanote, a great and free visual tool for your creative projects !
Let's face it, we can easily loose our mind when it comes to renovationprojects! We all know that the key to success is mostly planning, but it'ssometimes hard to find the best strategy and tools to get there.
Our team recently discovered Milanote, an online planning tool for anycreative project. Please note that we are not paid to talk about this tool, wejust want to share it with you, because we love it!
Milanote allows you to create boards to list various elements:
- Notes
- Images
- Colors
- Check lists
- Timelines
- Web links
- Documents imported from your computer (Word or Excel for example)
- ... and much more!
This online tool also offers you the possibility to organize andcustomize everything with columns, titles, colors, arrows, icons, etc. You caneven create sub-tables, to make it even easier to organize your differentelements. You can also share your boards and invite people to edit them, whichis great if you're working together on a project, like your spouse or adesigner!
Milanote is free for use up to 100 items - which gives you plenty ofroom to use it for a few simultaneous projects. Also note that it is onlyavailable in English.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here is an example of whatcan be done with Milanote in a renovation project:
For example, if you have four projects simultaneously, you could dividethese four projects into four different boards to organize everything. Then, inthe same way as for a website, you could navigate between your boards thanks tothe small menu at the top left (Home / Renovations). You can then access theother boards by clicking on the words in this menu.
